I have a Bachelor of Music from The Elder Conservatorium of Music and a Diploma in Education, Adelaide University.

I have taught music in secondary schools and in my private studio for over 10 years, mostly with the Simply Music method. Simply Music is a breakthrough in music education.  It is an Australian developed method that has beginning students playing great sounding pop, blues, classical and accompaniment pieces from their first lessons. 

I enjoy teaching this method because the results are so immediate and students get to experience playing a wide variety of musical styles. It is a fun way to learn and a great way to teach. My students are encouraged to develop their creativity and enjoy a lifelong love of playing music. Everyone can play with this method -  children, teens, adults and seniors, from beginners to more experienced students.  I offer private lessons or 6-week group workshops where students learn several songs and accompaniment chords. Get a few friends together and try a workshop. It’s fun and easy.
